Summertime!

I love Summer. No - not the little girl who lives in Pant-yr-awel - I love this time of year. It's great. You put the clocks forward, get to wake the big fellas up earlier and everyday is sunny! Well, at least today was. So much so that we went out the back again this afternoon.

I nearly caught Ringo the cat as he was walking by but he seemed to speed up a bit when I started squealing at him.

It's been a busy weekend. We went up to the shops and I had lunch out.

What I really wanted was some of Dad's coffee but he said it was too hot. I was prepared to wait and let it cool down but he still said no.

Mam is making me some lovely dinners. I'm now eating roasted peppers, apples, pears, bananas, courgettes, tomatoes, cauliflower, butternut squash, peas, sweetcorn and Sony Ericsson phones.

As regular readers will know, I don't endorse any particular products and other brands of phone are available.

I'm learning to play the drums. Dad thought it would be a good idea if I learned to play something. The violin didn't really work out so I'll give these a bash for a bit and see how it goes. I think Dad might regret this one.

But despite trying new things, I still like the old stuff like my activity centre. It is the best thing ever apart from bananas.

Phew...I think I need a little lie down after all that.

Catch you again soon.

Six Months! (and Six Nations! - ok I'll drop it now)

Firstly I hope everyone had a nice Easter. I was too small to have my own egg but Mam and Dad let me watch them eat theirs. I'm sure I'll make up for it next year.

On Saturday morning at 8.35am I was six months old. Blimey. That's practically half a year!

During this time I have amassed a lot of toys. Some of them I've had since I was little but I've managed to work out how to use them recently. The only trouble is that I don't know which one to play with first. (However - I usually want the one that the big fellas are playing with. Apparently this is normal).

My Great Uncle Ian dropped by for a cup of tea last week as he was visiting Cardiff. He usually lives in Canada which is on the other side of Swansea. It was nice to meet him.

Iggle Piggle and Makka Pakka were pleased to see him too.

I'm doing really well with my feeding now. Still no teeth (though they are coming) but I'm really enjoying my carrots.

Mam isn't feeding me so much these days because I'm a big girl now and Mam doesn't want to be one anymore. That means I get more bottles and sometimes I can even do it myself.

As the weather was ok for a bit yesterday, we went up into the back garden. Yes, the sky really can get that colour in Blackmill.

After that we went to the supermarket and I tried one of their special trolleys for the first time. I laughed all the way round the shop. Mam and Dad did too.

Six months is another milestone in baby clothing. I'll leave you for now with a picture of me in another fab dress that I got into for the first time this weekend.

Grand Slam!

Yes...Yes...YES!!!

Well done boys! We did the Slam!

Awesome.

When I grow up I'm going to marry Shane.

Not only did we win the 6 Nations and get a Slam, I made the BBC (not the Baby Broadcasting Corporation...the real one...even if they did get my age wrong...I'm nearly 6 months...check the link below)

Come On Boys!

Dad's not been very well this week and so Mam has had to look after everyone. She's helping me with the blog tonight - it's just a quick one ahead of the match tomorrow and I just wanted to say a big "GOOD LUCK" to the boys.

Let's hope Shane does plenty of this (with a ball, of course)

It's kind of quiet in Wales tonight. I hope it's not tomorrow evening - it won't be if they let us run!

Deep breath, everyone. Catch you after.

Every Day I Look At The World From My Window

Hi everyone!

We had some great weather this weekend for St David's Day. It was cold but sunny. Perfect for pulling a comfy chair up to the window and watching the world go by...very slowly.

As I looked out, Blackmill looked back. Neither of us were up to much but we were each fascinating in our own way.

Mam and Dad are talking about moving house. I hope we can stay nearby because I like it round here.

It was nice enough to get out in the garden too. Mam took me out to see the pond at the side. It had frogs in it and everything!

And I love that new dress. Very 60's! The big fellas say I look more and more like a big girl everyday.

(By the way - Happy first Mother's Day, Mam - you're the best!)

I've also been persevering with eating solid foods. This week I have mostly been eating, sweet potato, pear, carrot, banana, baby rice and apple. Yum!

The apple I had this morning was my favourite. It was going down so well I asked Dad to make a video of it. You can see it on Youtube if you click this link (don't forget to have your speakers turned up!)

While I'm on the subject of videos, here's another of me actually doing my blog!

If any of you have trouble looking at the videos on Youtube you can always contact me by replying to the subscription email and I'll try and send the videos to you directly.

And that's about it for another week. Take care and keep checking by!
