We Gotta Get Out Of This Place

Bonus midweek special!

Tomorrow I will stop being a Blackmill girl and will turn into an Ogmore Vale girl. It's only up the road but it still feels like a big thing. I have had a lovely time in Blackmill but it's time to go here now...

And briefly (cos the big fellas are tired)...I've been walking in between the boxes...

I might not be able to do the blog for up to FOUR WEEKS because of the telephone company being useless but I will try my best.

A big day tomorrow...nursery day! (Timing or what???). Last week I played with bubbles and ate pasta. Watch this space.

Living In A Box

Hiya

Right...the move looks on. Thursday according to the solicitors. They still have a few queries about the number of birds that fly over our house but it should be ok.

I'm helping the big fellas pack

Other than that I have been trying to stand up and walk. Crawling seemed boring so I thought I'd go route one!

I've also been trying on some new clothes that suddenly fit. This dress was sent in by my friend Harry. Thank you Harry!

While Mam and Dad have been packing I have been reading a magazine about what's hot and what's not in Ogmore Vale. I need to keep up.

And in a break from packing I went to see Gramps...

I will try and do a blog next week if I can but the nice people at BT might not let me. Do they not know how important this is???!

Last Train To Blackmill?

Hey!

Things are moving with the moving and I might not be a Blackmill girl for much longer. I'm kind of sad about that but the big fellas reckon it will be better. I reserve judgment until they get me to where they are getting to.

Cut to the chase...

Here's me showing off my best tooth!

Aces! It's worth the pain if you can eat rusks.

We went out to a book shop today - one of those new ones that have a shop in where you can buy coffee at inflated prices. I stuck with the water...

Note big girl's chair.

I've finally grown into a rather funky hat I got from Canada. I think Canada is Welsh for cool hat.

Woah!

Mam has taken to giving me a likkle tickle before I have a bath...dreamy time...

And I've got a new fave TV prog...'Big Cook Little Cook' rocks. I'd love to get in the kitchen but my grown-up helpers are too busy doing other things.

Another busy week!

Thanks for looking.

Happy Birthday Mam!

Mam was 23 yesterday, I think, which is ancient.

We went back to Millie's Madhouse on Friday where I practiced my standing.

I still need to hold onto something but then so does Dad on Saturday nights.

I also had a go at crawling. It's 50/50 whether I'm going to crawl or walk first. I haven't decided yet.

Because it was Summer again today we went to the park in Blackmill where they have swings. Swings are cool!

All kinds of swing are represented. Even the ones that allow big fellas on.

They also had a slide that was really good for posing on. You'd never know that I didn't slide down it on my own.

Ace! When we got home I had a play on my old play mat. How times change. Can you tell which of the following photos was taken today?

And the solicitor reckons we'll be moving in a few weeks...better start packing my toys!

Thanks for looking.

Dad and Ted and Tone

Hi everyone!

Isn't this weather awful (assuming you are in the United Kingdom of the Principality of Wales in Blackmill where I live). This is my first summer and, so far, I don't rate it.

Uncle Tone came to visit this weekend and the rain nearly spoiled the whole thing but we managed to have a nice time and even managed to get to the beach when the sun came out for ten minutes.

Ok...so it wasn't actually sunny but it wasn't raining and that's just about the same thing, isn't it?

I got to try out my new forward facing big girl's car seat. I think it was Confucius who said that journey's are so much better when you can see where you are going.

We went to see a nursery today 'cos Mam is going back to work soon. It was great. They had loads of people my age and Mam and Dad weren't too embarrassing. I'm looking forward to going. Especially when the lady showing us round said we can play with jelly and sand in the afternoons (though not at the same time).

I'll sign off with a new video on Youtube. Click the link below to see me saying Dad on prompt. I'll leave you to work out if it's "Dad" Dad or Dad the cat or Dad the washing machine.
