Thrills, Spills and Bellyaches

Yo!

I'm gonna have to be brief. The thing is, I've not been too well this last week. Mam had to take me to the Doctor's three times. Turns out I've got gastroenteritis. Great. Now for those of you that don't know what it is, you have trouble keeping food down and when you do, well, the house suddenly smells more and more of air freshener which is not ideal when you are trying to sell it. Mam started feeling bad towards the end of the week and Dad is moaning this evening too, although I think that he's only got a hurty knee.

Despite all of this Mam and Dad's friends came to see us at the weekend. I'd like to say thank you to Tom and Pav, Harry and little Steve for coming. It made me feel much better in between screaming the house down.

Here's a selection of photos...

Me at Lakeside Farm...

Having a laugh with Harry on the stairs...

After that we went to the beach as it was Summer in Wales on Saturday. My Dad carried me around but I think he regretted it towards the end as I'm quite heavy these days.

We had ice creams and lollies near the beach - well, the big fellas did. I just stuck to milk on account of my dodgy tummy.

Whilst all this was going on, poor Steve was doing a u-turn on the M4 because he forgot you have to pay to get into Wales 'cos it's the best. He didn't have any money on him. Dad and Tom found this funny and said something about people who come from Liverplop.

After I went to bed, Harry managed to sneak down and get this photo of the big fellas drinking grape juice in part of the garden.

And that's about it from me for this week.

See you later.

Eat Eat Eat

I have been eating a lot this week but unlike John Prescott I have managed to keep it down (yes - I do politics)

Mam and Dad took me to Ikea today so I could help them choose Scandinavian furniture for a house they haven't bought yet. Whilst we were there I had my lunch.

It got a bit messy when Dad took over...

Yum!

The big fellas have been to look at some other houses for me to grow up in. I've not liked any of them enough yet...mostly because the ceilings have been pants and not a patch on ours...I like looking at our ceiling.

What else have I been up to? Well...I've continued to hog one end of the sofa with my toys and books...

I've been practicing my crawling...

And Ringo got into a bag that's not just for Christmas.

I really like Ringo but he's a bit wary of me and my grabbing hands.

That's it for this week - thanks for looking.

A x

(PS...well done Joe!)

For Sale

Mam and Dad have put the house up for sale!

I don't want to go...I like it here but they reckon it's not ideal for little girls and they need somewhere more practical. If you would like to buy a nice 19th century cottage in Blackmill, then please email me.

I've got to be quick tonight as the big fellas want to go to bed early. They've been busy tidying up in advance of people coming to see the house.

Whilst they were running the Hoover round, I read a book about a hungry caterpillar who ate too much.

After that I needed a bath. Now...regular readers may remember this...

Yup...that was my first bath at home. They are much better now and I even manage to wash myself a bit.

And that's about it for this week...sorry it's brief.

Gratuitous picture of Shane...

Bye for now x

Angry From Blackmill

Dear BBC,
Why oh why have you stopped showing 'In The Night Garden' during the Bedtime Hour? How is a girl supposed to get to sleep? Mam and Dad are furious because it has disrupted my evening routine (and no doubt millions of others). Please bring it back to the right time as 10.30 in the morning is no time for us little ones to be going to bed. If you persist in showing it at this time, I will have no choice but to use my clout on the interweb and, well, direct all of my readers to a petition or something.

Okay - sorry - rant over.

Please click here to sign the petition!

Actually, I'm not really angry as I've had another lovely week and the big fellas have Sky+

I'd like to thank my best friend Millie for sending me this photo of us when I went to see her last week. She'd definitely my best friend and has been brilliant at sharing some of the clothes that don't fit her anymore. Cheers Mills!

The sun was out again during the week and Mam took me out for a spot of sunbathing.

She even managed to get a photo of us together by holding the camera up in the sky whilst we made silly faces.

Mam and Dad's friends Ray & Carol came to visit this weekend. Here's me showing them my excellent standing up skills. (Thanks for the help Ray)

Yesterday we went to the Ogmore Junction for lunch because The Fox has closed! I had some great sleeps in there - I hope it opens again soon. Anyway, it was sunny and we even managed to sit outside.

Before our friends went home today we went up the Bwlch near where we live. Last time I went up there I was very small. Can you spot the difference?

Where does the time go?

Anyway - must go...there's a bottle of milk with my name on it.

Until next time.

A x
