Ouch!

I was doing really well this week. I was sleeping good, eating well and getting into lots of new clothes and then came a series of, well, not nice things.

On Wednesday I had to have my first immunisation jabs. Mam says it hurt her more than it hurt me but I seriously doubt it. After that I thought I'd get my own back by slipping back a couple of weeks in terms of sleep irregularity and crying fits. It seemed to work. I got a new outfit for going out in. It make me look like a bear. Grrrrrr.

Then I found out that despite eating a lot (and...errr..."ejecting" a lot) it seems I'm not putting on weight. Now, Mel the Health is not concerned with this as she says I look healthy and everything. What do you think?

I mean a girl's got to look after her figure, right? (That and practice pouting)

And THEN the Springboks dared beat us in our own back garden. Jeez!

Not all bad news though. Grandma Spain came over to see me again on Friday. At least she thinks I looked a bit bigger than the last time she saw me.

Maybe my lack of weight-gain is down to all the exercise I've been getting. Here's me doing my pre-crawl routine. Look at the power in my neck, guys!

Finally, I had a very odd dream in which a teddy riding an orange giraffe told me the secret of time travel. I can't publish it here though...he'd go mental...it is a secret, after all.

Until yesterday.

All Quiet on the Western Front

Hi!

It's been a relatively slow news week guys.

I'm continuing to get bigger and tipped the scales at 9lb 6oz on Wednesday. Do I look big in this?

I've also been trying to stand on my own two feet...physically...I still need Mam & Dad to buy me clothes.

I have started to have some kind of routine in the last few days. I get up in the morning, cry, eat, sleep a bit, cry again, eat, have a play, cry, sleep a bit, cry, giggle, sleep a bit, cry, eat (pretend to), cry, wriggle, smile then eat a bit more. After all that, I try and keep quiet while Mam watches In The Night Garden (she loves Iggle Piggle).

However - this routine was rudely interrupted on Friday morning when Dad got in the way of my morning ablutions...literally. He had to change his clothes. There was a photo but he won't let me put it up.

Another first though...to give Mam a rest (and a glass of wine) I agreed to let Dad give me a bottle for tea. Mam had made it earlier. I think it's called an espresso.

Finally - I had a funny dream in which a flying fish told me that I could make a lot of money if Fisher Price sponsored my blog.

Until next time...make sure you buy Fisher Price stuff.

Big Girls Don't Cry.

I've so much to get through in this post so I'll just get on with it.

Mel the health came round to see me last Monday and I weighed 9lb...and that was nearly a whole week ago. I've been able to fit into some new clothes, including my pixie hat. I think it's cool but Mam & Dad always seem to giggle when I put it on.

My Nan dropped by one evening to see the smile she'd heard so much about.

It was a week of visitors, this week! Auntie Miriana came to see me too. I was so excited that I fell asleep on her.

Thinking that may be seen as rude, I made sure I woke up when she carried me around outside. (Dad's really pleased with this photo. You'd never guess this was the car park at Aldi in Bridgend. He says it's a special kind of magic called "cropping".)

I've taken the opportunity to explore up the back with Mam and Dad this weekend. Here's a couple of photos of me in the garden. I've said it before and I'll say it again - orange is SO me!

The more observant of my readers will notice I have different clothes on in the two photos above. This is because of something called a "changing accident". Can you guess which ones I had on first?

This isn't the best pic of me ever but it's included here because of its historical value. Here's me on my very first visit to the pub. I slept most of the time but apparently that's ok because Dad said he had fallen asleep in pubs too.

Before any of you write in, that's not my drink. However, the fresh air on the way back knocked me out even more and I ended up having a sleep with Ringo who seems to be getting used to me.

Finally - here's a link to my latest Youtube video...

As ever, turn your speakers up. I'll spoil it a bit because I know some of you may not be able to view my videos on Youtube if you are at work or on steam-powered internet . I'm going mobile guys! Well...trying.

Until next time...be nice to each other.

The Inevitable Halloween Photos

Hiya blogfans.

I'll get them out of the way right at the beginning of the blog today. Thanks to Auntie Saydi for the outfit. Mam and Dad thought it was really funny dressing me up as a pumpkin (but I have to admit that I kinda liked it and think orange is so me. Note to self...get more orange clothes)

If I say so myself...definitely more treat than trick!

I'm still suffering with a bit of colic but all in all I've not been too bad. The mornings are my best time especially when the big fellas wake up and play with me.

I've been practicing smiling too. Dad thinks I've got it nailed.

I've also managed to get into more of my clothes because I went to get weighed on Thursday and now weigh in at 8lb 11oz. That's almost enough to take on Joe Calzaghe. GO JOE!!!

And Mam has become an expert with my sling. So much so that I even go to sleep in it now and she can do the washing up while Dad gets the camera!

Before I go I'd like to say thanks to all my new subscribers and to those of you who have left comments on the blog. If you want to leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you. Just go to the webpage and click on the comments link at the bottom of each post.

I'll sign off for now with a link to my latest Youtube post. Be warned - DO NOT VIEW if you get sea-sick!
