Snap Happy

I wasn't going to do the blog tonight but I thought I'd share some photos from today with you.

Mam noticed this morning that if you catch me at the right angle I have heart-shaped nostrils.

The big fellas reckon I'm developing more of a personality. Hmmm. I thought I always had one but I do tend to let them know if they are talking gibberish a bit more now.

But to keep them interested, I still do cute pretty well...

Mam had me in my sling a lot today. Can you spot me?

I'll give you a clue...

And my Gramps demanded a staring re-match. Give it up, man!

That Was The Week That Was

Blimey...how time flies!

Dad went back to work and Mam had to put up with me during the day. Grandma and Grandad went back to Spain and I weighed in at 8lb 8oz with Mel the Health. I'm now above my birthweight and the big fellas aren't so big no more!

Midweek Mam's friend Jude came to see me. I can't say I looked my best

I had a special delivery from my Aunty Millie who lives in Martinez CA (I go global, dudes). She made me some ace blankies...cheers! Thanks also to everyone that has sent me stuff. I'm going to post my thank you cards soon.

My Mam continues to be the best...

And finally...I had a funny dream in which fairies were real and tasted of aubergine

Thanks for looking guys...be back soon.

Boo!

I know I said that I would probably only be able to post once a week now but I couldn't resist a quick one today because I had a visit from my Great Grandma. She'd heard that I was good at staring competitions so came round to try her luck.

I'm good but not that good. She's been doing it for much longer than me.

She used to have red hair - I guess that's where I get mine from.

Anyway, it was nice to meet her especially as she wore her funky leather jacket because she'd heard how cool I am and was out to impress.

She's my only Great Grandparent that you can see in photos. The others don't show up for some reason but I can see them fine.

See you soon x

Thank You For The Days

...'cos it'll just be the evenings during the week for me and Dad now.

Can you believe it? A whole month has gone by already and Dad has to go back to work tomorrow. I'm going to miss my playtimes with him after I have my breakfast. I think he's going to miss me too and neither of us are really looking forward to the morning.

Speaking of mornings, here's me getting my first nappy change of the day before the sun came up. As you can see, I'm really big now.

I'm sleeping pretty good at night 'cos Mam and Dad have been letting me in the bed with them. They probably sleep worse than me 'cos every time I so much as sneeze they jump up and turn the light on to see if I'm ok. Chill out fellas!

Before I sign out for the day, I'd better let my email subscribers know that I may not be able to update my page every day now because I'll be busy catching up with my Dad in the evenings. I'll probably only be able to update once a week for a while but if something special happens I'll post it right away and you'll automatically get an email the next morning. If you aren't a subscriber, please check back regularly because, at my age, anything can happen.

Mam...with a face like this, why are you worried about being alone with me during the day?

Bye for now (and drive careful Dad) x

Perchance to Dream

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I've slept so much today that I even managed to get Dad to zonk out with me for a bit.

Mam thought I might wake up if she turned me face down for a while. Fat chance.

They even tried putting me in my portable roller coaster but to no avail.

Mind you (and guess what?)... I had a strange dream in which a giant mouse told me that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

Woah.

This is the BBC

(My offshore readers will be lost today)

Slow news day guys. The Baby Broadcasting Company has announced strike action and, unfortunately, it affects this blog.

The union has informed me that I cannot report any news from today. Therefore, here's some pics from yesterday including me fooling my Dad I was going to sleep at 1am

and my Mam taking the time to find her camera phone in between nappy changes...

I should be back tomorrow until then, keep the red flag flying comrades.

Weight Watchers

Thursday...time to visit the Health Visitor again. Why is she called the Health Visitor if I have to go to her? Names like that are confusing. Anyway, Mel the Health wasn't there this week so we saw someone else. I didn't catch her name but she shares the scales with Mel.

I'll cut to the chase. I'm now 8lb 3oz. That's only 2oz more than last week and despite Dad trying to get the un-named Health (non) Visitor to take the "heavy" nappy change I had before going to see her into consideration, she reckoned I should weigh a little more by now; it was nothing to worry about as I still weigh more than Amy Winehouse.

When we got home Dad got some more milk down me with his special cup and I was out for the count. Next thing I knew, I was being pushed along the seafront at Porthcawl again and it was freezing so I cried 'til they took me home again.

Been eating loads today and catching up on my sleep. Trouble with a full stomach is it tends to give you funny dreams. This time I dreamt that a sheep gave me a tip for next year's Grand National. Remember this one folks - "Windy Challenger".

Be lucky x

Wednesday Morning 3am

Managed to do a bit of shopping today thanks to the nice people at the Insolvency Service (I hope they didn't take cash out on a credit card for my Boots vouchers).

My Nan came with us and we got some great clothes for me to wear over the next few months.

I'm struggling a bit tonight with my colic and can't write much more but thanks for dropping by.

A x

P.S. If anyone has an instant cure for colic, please let me or Mam and Dad know.

Ich Dien!

Yes folks...it's official! I am me and I was born in Wales.

Mam and Dad took me to the Council today and in return for letting the Registrar look at me, he gave them a certificate to say that I can now have my own passport etc.

Here's Mam on the way out of the modern offices in Bridgend.

We didn't see anyone famous today but the big fellas had a surprise when they tried to find me some clothes this morning.

Please note that Dad leaves clothes on the floor because he is a man. Mind you, he's ok because he fed me today with a special cup...even if he did steal one of my tops.

Hopefully going shopping tomorrow (if I sleep well, apparently). I'll leave you with a pic of me in my frog gym.

Adios x

A Quick One

I've not had the best of days. Mam and Dad think I have colic because I keep getting windy and have legs that go like a frog a lot. I cried quiet a lot today (despite loads of songs about chickens and some new ones about being King of the Monkeys - even if I am a girl)

We poppped into IKEA today and it was mad. We saw Gareth Jenkins. He was trying to hide from everyone for some reason. Then we turned the corner and saw Kevin Morgan buying a poster. Shouldn't they have been in France?

I bought a new night light that will hopefully help Mam and Dad sleep better. His name is Spoka.

(Please note I am not being paid by IKEA for this blog)

That's it for today as my hiccups have started again. Bye for now.

Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside

Bonjour

(Before I start, did you know you can click on the photos on my page for a better view?)

Go RSA! Anyway...enough of that...this blog is about me.

My Gramps came round this morning for a staring competition. I won. Yay!

Then I got dressed up in my yellow gear...

...and we went for a drive to Porthcawl. It was my first time at the seaside but I didn't really know where I was. Thankfully, Mam & Dad had activated the automatic mode on my pram-cam so I could see the pictures later.

The big fellas had chips in the wind cos, apparently, that's what you do at the seaside.

Mam's coat matched my pram (in places).

Finally for today you can see my new video by clicking the link below. You will need the sound up for full effect.

Whatever Gets You Through the Night

Boo!

I was up and down all night last night and no-one got much sleep - so little that the photos Mam took of me with Dad this morning have been banned because Dad looked rough as a rough thing on National Rough Day.

Grandma and Grandad dropped by on their way to visit some friends for the next few days. After that, the three A's took it easy. Mam and Dad drank gallons of tea and I had a little sleep. It didn't last long though as, again, I was haunted by another weird dream. This time I was lying on a lily pad and a giant frog was trying to get me to arm wrestle him. Woah!

After lunch, I had another little sleep on Mam.

My Nanny dropped by later on with her friend Andrea. They had been shopping and had got me some socks and a cardigan...aces!

And that's all there is to say today folks...apart from ALLEZ LES BLEU! Or as they say in France...you may have won, mais ou est le flair?...je suis alese.

Shop But Don't Drop (Me)

Man - I am tired today.

We went into Bridgend to get some food (and wine) for the big fellas. I'm going to stick to milk for the time being.

Grandma and Grandad wanted to push my wheels around. Mam and Dad didn't have the heart to tell them I was still in the car.

After that we went up to the Bwlch Mountain by where we live. Wales is ace, innit (and so's my pram-cam)

After that it was lunchtime and then off to the hospital for the feeding clinic where I proceeded to snooze off but they thought I had been doing well.

I'm too tired to do any more today and I'll sign off with a picture of three generations of girls. Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight and be able to update more tomorrow.

Diolch for checking in guys.

Don't Worry...Change Nappy!

Hey!

I had to go and see Mel the Health this morning for my weekly weigh in. I'm now 8lbs 1oz and and she seemed very happy with me. So she should. I had on the same, fetching hat I wore to leave the hospital and it almost doesn't fit me now. I think that proves I am growing and not shrinking almost as much as her graph does.

When I got home it was "playtime" and, as promised, Dad got the camera out.

For those of you that haven't met me yet, here's one of how big I am next to Dad's hand...

My Dad is a giant so I reckon I must be nearly five foot long or something like that.

I was really good in my basket while everyone had their lunch and in the afternoon Mam had a lie down, Dad and Grandma had a chat about the price of eggs and Grandad told me I'd won a sleeping competition. Here's my reaction...

Olive came a close second.

Bye for now x

Donde Blackmill?

Just a quick one tonight because I'm a little tired.

My Grandma and Grandad arrived today and it was really nice to meet them for the first time.

I had lots of lovely clothes from Spain and Mam and Dad got some wine and cheese and funny ham that you can't get in Blackmill. Good stuff all round.

This is probably a good time to say thank you to everyone who works with the big fellas for the flowers, card and vouchers...I know that some of you read this and want you to know that I really appreciate it.

I'll leave you with a couple of pics from today and will be back soon. Ive started to have a "playtime" every morning around 11am and have asked Dad to get some photos of me being a little more active so you don't get bored. That said, subscriptions are through the roof for the last few days. I've heard that some of you may have signed up for the email subscription but have not received them. If you sign up via the website you will get sent an email that you need to respond to to confirm you want to subscribe...this email may get flagged as junk by your email program (even though it's not!) so please check your junk mail folder. For the time being I'm posting everyday and I don't want you to miss out!

Cheers guys!
